Dr. Alison Bryant named Chief Growth Officer for Moveris

Alison Bryant, one of the world’s most recognizable names in media research and content development, has joined Moveris as its Chief Growth Officer. In her new role, Bryant will head up Moveris’ growth strategy, lead efforts to ensure product offerings meet consumer needs, and support marketing strategy.

“This is a transformational moment for both Moveris and the content creation industry globally,” said Moveris CEO, Dr. Justin Keene. “No one understands consumer research and its role in driving consumer behavior better than Dr. Bryant. She brings instant credibility and just lifted the lid off the potential of Moveris to help content creators, brands and agencies truly connect with their audience.”

Dr. Bryant comes to Moveris from Sesame Workshop, where she served as Chief Research, Education, Data, and Impact Officer and oversaw the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, Sesame Workshop’s research and innovation lab. She previously led AARP’s Research Center and cross-enterprise Technology & Digital Equity social impact initiative. She was also the CEO at PlayScience, a research and design firm that worked on branding, education, research, and platform development for some of the world’s prominent family consumer brands, such as Disney, Girl Scouts, and Samsung.  Prior to PlayScience she was Senior Research Director at Nickelodeon (part of Viacom, now Paramount) where she established the digital research division.

“I’ve been on both sides of the consumer research process and have seen how rigorous and nimble insights can transform media to be more effective and impactful,” Dr. Bryant said. “Moveris is solving so many of the issues I’ve run into on both the buy and supply sides of research, so I’m thrilled to join the team and help bring a more powerful and accurate – yet simple to use – product to the market.”

Dr. Bryant earned a Ph.D. in Communication from University of Southern California and was an assistant professor of communication at Indiana University.
